Tonight being Thursday we played footy. The others had some new faces and they were young and good!! We lost again but it was fun. A quote from Mr Baillie “you had a great game tonight!!” As Sheldon would say “was that sarcasm?”

There was a bonus though Drewett was on the other side!!

Even added an extra half mile by doing a warm down with Garry

Exercise tonight was a walk round b and q as it was too cold to go running!

Annoying moment of the day. Bloke sitting next to me on the way home was eating liquorice and was the noisiest eater I have ever heard. Added to that he kept touching my leg!!

Forgot to weigh myself this morning so no stats but can guarantee my scales would say 14 st 13 lb!!

Food
Whole meal sandwich – 1 peanut butter and 1 golden syrup.
Ready salted hula hoops
Tuna pasta.
You corner yogurt with raisins.

After a couple of aborted attempts at starting DVDs. Men’s health 15 minutes workout when I needed dumbells and an exercise ball and Red magazines drop a dress size in 4 weeks where I just couldn’t get the hang of it.

So I went for a walk with Millie and we managed 1.77 miles in 26.02 and Millie managed to moan about having a stitch, it’s too cold etc for the last mile!

Went to see the knee consultant today and as I guessed they are going to do another scan next Tuesday as its still not right. So will hopefully the scan shows what’s up.

Just a reminder. The reason for doing this, trying to raise money for Janathon http://www.janathon.com/. http://www.justgiving.com/sthreeplc so if you fancy sponsoring us that would be great.

So yesterday’s exercise included 2 hours of ironing and a walk up and down the hill in Lewes to look in the antiques shops. Also stopped in the “elephant shop” aka Trading Boundaries http://online.tradingboundaries.com/ and traipsed round there!

Just come back from my run 1.66 miles in 17.44 and as the title says I wish I didn’t live in such a hilly area as no matt which way I run there are very steep inclines. Even the downhill sections don’t help as it hurts to slow down!

So tonight it was Thursday night footy.

The others turned up with their full compliment of players (unfortunately) so was difficult for us oldies.

Still managed a couple of goals and assists, so not too bad although we lost quite badly!!

Ran 1.5 miles so 0.5 more than last week!! Apparently Garry and Steve ran over 3 miles. Not sure their gps is working properly! I must have run further than them!

Here’s hoping Drewett goes on their side next week so he can constantly shoot for them! PASS DON’T SHOOT.

Went to the hospital today for a physio appointment for my knee and was told that I will need to see the consultant again as the knee is not progressing the way he would like. To be honest it hasn’t really felt right since the operation to remove the cartridge and tidy up the ligament. So will have to see what the consultant says.

Tonight I took the decision to update the software on the kids laptops thinking I wouldn’t take me 5 minutes. 2.5 hours later I was still waiting for them to update so ended up not getting out for m run until 8.15 and it was blooming cold!

Managed 1.06 miles in 11 minutes but that was all I could manage. In the back of my mind was footy tomorrow and not wanting to pull anything like I did last week.

We walked past the house that was in the running when we brought he house we now live in 6.5 years ago. Still think we made the right decision. I even managed to walk past 2 pubs without going in!

Today started as most Sundays do with the familys ironing, although not sure 2 hours of ironing cathing up on recorded programmes on the Sky box counts as exercise though.

Went for a cycle ride along the Worth Way today with Paige to Crawley Down and back. Managed 8.8 miles.

Watched the end of the Swansea – Arsenal game, how can Arsenals defending be so bad? Then watched Luis Suarez cheat Mansfield out of a reply by scoring a goal after blatently handballing it!!

Looks like it may have to be another run tomorrow.

Cheers
